Reservations and Refunds
Reservations
There are specific dates when you can begin booking reservations via the telephone. If you want to rent from Memorial Day weekend thru to June, call on the first business day of April. If you want to rent for July dates, call on the first business day of May. For August and September dates, call on the first business day of June. The telephones will be very busy on these dates - keep trying. If you have some flexibility in your trip dates, your chances are very good even several days after the initial bookings have started. Make reservations by contacting the Outdoor Rec. Office, Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. Hours of operation are 8:30 AM to 5 PM MST. The office is closed Wed, Sat, Sun and Federal holidays. Payment
Reservations must be paid at the time the booking is made. Checks cannot be accepted for bookings made over the phone. Checks are only accepted when the booking is made in person at the ODR Office.
Refunds
The cancellation/refund policy is firm. Reservations are not considered to be a day-to-day contract, but a contract for the full reservation period. To receive a refund (less $25 cancellation fee) cancellations must be made thirty days prior to the first day of occupancy. In addition, the ODR cannot be held responsible for inclement weather and will therefore not accept this as a reason for late cancellation or for a refund.
Our RV trailers are 26-foot travel trailers located at Sawtelle Mountain Resort. The trailers sleep six people. These well maintained, modern trailers are fully equipped with cooking and eating utensils, as well as heating and cooling systems. You will need to bring your own bedding, towels, pillows, food, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. Although the trailers do have showers, larger groups may want to utilize the campgrounds rest room/shower facility. While every eff ort is made to ensure the inventory of items is accurate and that everything functions as it should, there are sometimes problems. There is an on-site camp host, who will do everything possible to correct the def ciency. We ask that users be patient and flexible. Directions and key codes will be provided when a reservation is con firmed.
Policies
NO SMOKING Policy
For your convenience, all these units are smoke-free. A $100 fee will be assessed for any violations.
Cleaning Fees
A cleaning fee of $100 will be charged if trailers are not left as clean as they were found. A damage fee will be assessed for any damage done to the trailer.
We have 3 pet-friendly trailers.
Authorized Users and Cost of Rentals
Authorized Users
Active duty military personnel, military retirees, reservists and DoD civilians are eligible to rent the trailers.
Cost
The cost for rental is $140 per night. The minimum length of stay is two nights. *Fees may change without notice. Contact ODR for current rates.
